No. We are a CASH ONLY shop. We do have most major banks with ATM access within a block or two from our shop.

Whenever we don't have any appointments booked, we do take walk-ins on a first-come first-served basis.

Sometimes our artists tend to stay pretty booked up with appointments, so your best bet to be able to get tattooed sooner rather than later is to book an appointment ahead of time. Especially if it is a larger tattoo which requires significant drawing time. 

If you are considering coming in as a walk-in, we encourage you to call us (510-509-6000) to check if we have an artist free to take walk-ins that day.

If it is something that one of our artists originally tattooed within the last year, that artist will gladly touch-up your tattoo for free if needed. If it has been over a year, if your tattoo needs to be touched up because it wasn't properly taken care of (we will be able to tell), or if we didn't originally do the tattoo, then we charge regular price for touch-ups.

Yes. An artist will have to check out your tattoo in person and the remaining space around it to be able to determine the options of what can be done to cover it or if it can even be covered at all.

Cover-ups can be super tricky, and there are lots of factors like size, darkness and placement that will really limit what the tattoo can be covered with. As long as you are aware of that, willing to keep an open mind to suggestions, and willing to work with your artist on what can be done to make the cover up work properly, then they will glady cover up your unwanted tattoo.

If they feel it is too dark, or is something they are not 100% confident in covering up, they will be able to refer you either to another tattooer who they are confident will able to cover it up better, or to a legitimate laser removal clinic.

No. California law states that we are not allowed to tattoo anyone under 18 even with parental consent.

1. Having a quality meal 1-3 hours before your appointment is important and can help make your session a smooth experience

2. Drink lots of water the day before your appointment. Hydration is key.

3. Arrive to your appointment 10 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out the waiver. Please bring a Valid government issued photo ID.

We would rather you not. If you are wasted we won't tattoo you. Having a couple beers or smoking a little bit of weed isn't usually a problem, but getting shit-faced doesn't help the pain. It makes you move around a lot, and not listen to instructions, which makes it a HUGE pain in the ass for all of us.

Usually bringing one person with you to keep you company is perfectly fine. Your artist will want to be able to give you and your tattoo their full focus and most times having a lot of people crammed into our work station becomes very distracting to all the artists.

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.

There truly isn't any set rate or ammount that is considered "the appropriate amount to tip"

It's really up to you.

Each artist is different as far as what they choose to not tattoo.  Usually anything that could be interpreted as racist, gang related, or homophobic are not to be tattooed at our shop. If your tattoo is in a style that one of our artists is not 100% confident or comfortable with, they may not tattoo it but can refer you to a tattooer who can do the tattoo for you. We won't tattoo anything that we don't feel we will be happy with the outcome.
